There’s never been a better time to be a professional truck driver.  Drivers in possession of an AZ license can make $5,000 to $6,000 a month and are so in demand that employers often provide performance based incentives and bonuses.  In partnership with the Ontario Truck Training Academy, Smart Truck Driving School provides programs designed by experienced trucking professionals for students to engage in practical hands on training as well as in-class instruction.  Programs for Class G and Class AZ license training take place days and evenings.  The program runs seven weeks long if taken during the day, or ten weeks if scheduled for the evening. 

During the eight week duration of the program, students receive 200 hours of instruction which includes state of the art 3D simulators, air brake training, 50 hours of one-on-one in-cab instruction, hands on  AZ training and will use the same tractor trailer they learned on during their road test.  Successful applicants will receive an AZ Class license, a Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario (TTSAO) diploma, a Commercial Driver Improvement (Defensive Driving) Certificate and the knowledge that they are fully prepared for a successful career in the trucking industry.
