A Rochester driving school is teaching kids a very "Minnesota-appropriate" lesson.
Med-City Driving School teaches kids how to drive in the snow by having them practice right after a snow storm.
Owner and driving instructor, Patrick Nelson, says it's important to prepare them for Minnesota winters.
"We like to take advantage of days like this," says Nelson, "To get kids used to driving in this weather because unless you move, you're going to deal with this snow at some point in your life."
He also says if the student is too nervous to drive in the snow, they are able to reschedule the lesson.
